Know our history
Founding
Dencam was founded in 2003, focusing on tooling for the yacht industry.
Entry into Wind Industry
Dencam delivered its first mould to the wind industry.
New Ownership Structure
Existing owners Steen Hansen and Lui Kastrup acquired Dencam Composite A/S.
Peder Mohr Jensen became CEO.
Expansion of Mould Department
Opened Mould department in Årslev (Closed in 2016 because of growing size of moulds).
Business grew in on- and offshore wind turbine blade tooling and composite manufacturing.
New Leadership
Jesper Andersen became CEO.
Significant Growth & Relocation
Jens Dalgaard Andersen became CEO and co-owner.
Dencam produced its first +70 meter mould.Dencam moved to a new factory in Rudkøbing, with 13,000 m2 under roof.
International Expansion & Sustainability
Expansion and mould deliveries outside Europe.
Heating system in Rudkøbing was changed from oil to heat pumps.
Capacity Boost & New Service Area
Dencam installed a new 52-meter Poseidon MAXI CNC machine, significantly enhancing production capabilities.
Dencam opened a new service department in Poland: Dencam Blade Service, adding new competencies for blade repairs and increasing overall capacity.
Dencam opened a new mould department in Kirkeby with 8,000 m2 under roof, totaling 25,000 m2 across facilities.
Proprietary Design Launch
Dencam launched its own very successful mould Design, including a heat control system
Record-Breaking Mould
Produced the first +100 meter mould for offshore projects.
Environmental Certification
Achieved ISO 14001 approval.
Expand into serial production of composite
Safety Certification
Achieved ISO 45001 approval.
Innovation & Diversification
Innovation Grant for SwiftRoot Project: In May 2025, Dencam received 15 million DKK from EUDP (Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Program). Project: SwiftRoot – new root concept for ultra-large rotor blades.
Diversification into Defence Industry: Dencam started delivery to the defence industry as part of strengthening Dencam's presence outside the wind industry.
